Advancing Community Health and Well-Being
Daya Pertiwi Foundation (DPF) recognizes that health is the foundation of dignity, productivity, and resilience. In many rural and marginalized areas, preventable diseases, malnutrition, and limited access to health services remain major barriers to community development. Through our Health Programs, DPF works to integrate health initiatives with clean water, nutrition, environment, and community empowerment.
Focus Areas
- Maternal, Child, and Elderly Health
Education on maternal health, reproductive health, and safe motherhood.
Support for child health and nutrition programs to prevent stunting and malnutrition.
Family-based care and support systems for the elderly, ensuring dignity and inclusion. - Clean Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)
Development of community-managed clean water systems.
Introduction to drinking water supply and water purification technology (e.g., Energy Globe Award 2016 - Nusa Penida Island and Energy Globe Award 2022 Wirotaman Village, Malang).
Hygiene education campaigns to prevent diarrhea and waterborne diseases.
Approach
DPF's health initiatives are designed to be:
- Community-driven: empowering local groups to lead health solutions.
- Integrated: combining health with environment, water, education, and livelihoods.
- Sustainable: focusing on prevention, behavior change, and local ownership.
- Scalable: models proven at the village level are replicated to other districts.
Invitation for Partnership
DPF invites collaboration with international partners and other stakeholders to strengthen health initiatives. Together, we can expand access to clean water, improve nutrition, and ensure better health outcomes for women, children, and the elderly across Indonesia.
