One of the villages (Sidorejo) where DPF works was chosenin the past as a pilot by the government in Environmental Planning and Development at the Regional Level presented by the government at UNCRD, Nagoya, and used as a guide for field extension workers in other countries. DPF received several national awards and an Energy Globe Award in the field of community forestry and water.
