The Daya Pertiwi Foundation (DPF) in 2021, implements the Clean Water Purification program, processing wasted water into mineral water, in Wirotaman Village, Ampel Gading District, MalangRegency supported by the Japanese Embassy. DPF work purely socially (without receiving a salary or office operational costs). This system was carried out in technical collaboration with Yamaha and is anature-based and ecosystem-based drinking water purification system, being our first mineral water installation in East Java, and is branded WFRESH. This project has been finalized and has beeninaugurated by the Regent of Malang, the Embassy of Japan, and the Consul General of Japan, at 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on February 25, 2022, at the Wirotaman Village Hall, Wirotaman Village, AmpelGading District, Malang Regency.

This program is managed by a water committee consisting of people from local communities who have been trained in the management and technical operations of production and maintenance ofwater purification machines. Clean drinking water is very much needed, in addition to basic human needs, it also prevents cases of diarrhea that occurred in the past. The water has been tested at theSucofindo state laboratory, and the Yamaha laboratory and is declared fit for drinking. This very good quality mineral water is not only sold commercially at a price according to the ability of thelocal community, it is also distributed as social assistance to communities affected by the earthquake and Mount Semeru eruption.
